The organisations below specifically support SEND families from racially diverse groups, who may encounter barriers when trying to access help and support.

Communities Empowerment Network (CEN)
CEN provides a nationwide hybrid service to mainly ethnic minority (including African-Caribbean) families by offering them advice, support and representation for their children who may suffer obstacles to their educational achievement specifically in some instances, permanent exclusion from mainstream school.
A2ndVoice
A2ndVoice are a social enterprise non profit organisation supporting the needs of autistic people and their families, raising awareness and understanding from different perspectives, outreaching also to the Africa, Caribbean, Asian and Minority Ethnic Communities (ACAME) and Dual Heritage Communities in tackling the taboos and myths around Autism.
Autism Mosque
A project started by Sara Mangera and Nadeem Hussain, who wanted Mosques to do more to welcome and accommodate people with autism and increase awareness, understanding and acceptance within the muslim community.
Include Me Too
Include Me TOO (IM2) is a United Kingdom based charity supporting disabled children, young people and their families from diverse range of backgrounds, participation, equality, inclusion, rights and aspirations nationally and internationally.
Mushkil Aasaan
Mushkil Asaan is a Tooting based charity aimed at supporting the Asian Community in the locality to access services.
Black Child Down syndrome
The Black Child Down Syndrome (BCDS) Project is a groundbreaking advocacy initiative dedicated to increasing awareness, representation, and support for Black children with Down syndrome and their families. Founded to address the lack of visibility and culturally relevant resources, the BCDS Project aims to create a more inclusive world where every child can thrive regardless of their abilities.
